FAQ's
BPRO Kennels are built around a welded aluminum "roll cage" frame, instead of common bent sheet metal. This structure makes them significantly stronger, quieter and lighter, while offering real protection if things ever go sideways on the road or trail.
BPRO Kennels range from 150lbs to 220lbs. On average, our aluminum kennels weigh about 1/3 as much as comparable stainless steel kennels. That means less strain on your truck, better fuel economy, and easier loading and unloading without sacrificing strength.
We do our best to make sure everything and everybody stays warm and dry - but water is a tough one to keep out completely. The individual dog compartments each have multiple drain holes so water cannot pool up. If you are concerned about the storage area we recommend keeping guns and gear in dry bags or hard cases.
Yes, BPRO Kennels are insulated. With our design of the box, we add 1" thick insulation to all the walls that run front to back. This insulation keeps our dogs warm in the colder months and cool in the warmer months.
However, it's worth noting that these kennels are not magic. We always recommend being weather smart with your dogs - you know your dogs the best and are responsible for their health and well being.
BPRO Kennels are shipped via freight right to your house. They come with a lift gate that can lower them right to the ground, no need for a forklift or tractor. The kennels are wrapped in foam to protect against bangs and bruises.
Each dog door has it's own adjustable vent, as well as both of the sides of the box. Additionally, on our Havoc 3 hole model, the middle walls have pass through airflow.
There are plenty of after market fans that work great. Many of them mount directly to our kennels without the need for any modifications. Feel free to reach out to us for any recommendations.
